The Estate at Fly Creek is one of the few Cooperstown family rentals large enough for multi-family vacations, reunions, and extended-family getaways. With eight bedrooms, a heated indoor pool, a private lake, alpacas, and 335 acres of open space, the estate gives families something that hotels and small vacation rentals cannot: room for everyone to spread out while still being under one roof.
Located 10 miles from Cooperstown Dreams Park and 7 miles from the Village of Cooperstown, the estate puts families within easy reach of the area's main attractions while providing a self-contained base that children never want to leave.
The indoor pool settles every rainy day debate. The estate has the only heated indoor pool near Cooperstown. Rain, cold, or post-ballpark exhaustion? The pool handles it.
The lake keeps everyone busy. Kayaks, paddleboards, a paddleboat, fishing, and swimming are all available on the private spring-fed lake. Equipment is provided.
The alpacas are a guaranteed hit. Six alpacas live on the property. The "Alpaca Experience" lets kids (and adults) feed them, pet them, and in summer, help hose them down. It is the most talked-about activity for families with young children.
Space to run. 335 acres of groomed trails, meadows, pastures, and woods. A regulation multi-sport court for tennis and basketball. A fire pit for evening s'mores.
Two kitchens save the grocery bill. Instead of dining out every night in Cooperstown, families cook together in one of two full kitchens with commercial-grade appliances. Groceries are a 10-minute drive away.

The estate sleeps up to 22 guests in eight private suites — perfect for families traveling together for tournaments, reunions, or group vacations. Here's why multi-family groups love it:
No more coordinating between hotel rooms. Everyone stays together with shared living spaces, kitchens, and 335 acres of grounds.
Per-night costs divided across families often come out comparable to or less than individual hotel rooms — with far more space and amenities.
The pool, lake, alpacas, and multi-sport court keep kids busy for hours while parents relax. Built-in playdates, no planning required.
Two full kitchens let families share cooking duties. Or let Jeff, the on-site chef, handle dinner so everyone can relax.
Each of the eight bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom. Togetherness when you want it, privacy when you need it.
End the day at the outdoor fire pit, in the bistro pub, or on the screened porch. The memories happen after the kids go to bed.
A significant portion of our family guests are in town for the Cooperstown Dreams Park Experience, which runs from early June through early September. The estate is 10 miles from the park, an easy drive after a day at the ballfields.
During Dreams Park season, the minimum stay is six days, which aligns with the typical tournament schedule. The estate sleeps up to 22, making it ideal for families traveling together or for a player's family that wants to bring grandparents, siblings, and cousins along.
After long days at the park, families appreciate coming home to the indoor pool, the lake, and a large kitchen rather than a cramped hotel room.
