The Estate at Fly Creek operates year-round, and winter is one of the best-kept secrets of the Cooperstown area. With direct access to 75 miles of state snowmobile trails, groomed paths for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and a heated indoor pool to warm up in afterward, the estate offers a self-contained winter getaway in upstate New York.
Off-season rates and a three-day minimum stay make winter an accessible and affordable time to visit.
The estate property connects directly to 75 miles of well-marked State Corridor and Secondary snowmobile trails. These trails interconnect with hundreds of additional miles across central and upstate New York, making the estate a strong base for multi-day snowmobiling trips.
Snowmobiling is not permitted on the estate grounds, but the trailhead is accessible from the property boundary. Bring your own snowmobile or rent from providers in the Cooperstown area. Call (607) 547-5216 for local rental recommendations.

The estate's 335 acres include groomed trails through forest, meadows, and along the lake, suitable for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Bring your own equipment.

The estate's heated indoor pool operates year-round. After a day on the trails, the pool and adjacent steam room provide a warm recovery. This is the only heated indoor pool near Cooperstown.

The fire pit, the bistro pub with mahogany bar, and the large living room with fireplace make winter evenings at the estate comfortable. Cook a group dinner in one of two full kitchens, or we can recommend a private chef to handle the meal.

Winter is off-season at the estate. Minimum stay is three days. A smaller-gathering option for up to 10 guests (five bedrooms) is available at a reduced rate.
